HAPPY NEW YEAR
The New Year is finally here and Sporthood has arrived bearing gifts of all sorts for our dear community. From PUMA Goodies, Paytm cashback and Sporthood credits for all new memberships, to GOLD and SILVER passes that give you special access to all of Sporthood. Keeping up with the festive spirit, we have also taken in your various feedback from the year passed and have introduced some systematic changes that we are sure will keep your experience premium and your sessions fun!
A VOTING SYSTEM TRULY FOR ALL
For those new to Sporthood, we use a simple voting system to manage the slots available in an Adults Training or Playing session. The reason we do so is to get the right number of people in a game, which is directly related to the quality of the session. Members and non-members alike can use the Sporthood app to vote in to a session if slots are available and confirm their game. If slots are full, nobody can vote in, however, there is an option to get a notification when someone votes out, following which you can vote in for the now free slot.
Sporthood sessions happen all across Bangalore and Kochi and a member can join any of our centres in these locations, play one session a day, at a time of their choosing, provided that day is part of their subscription. There are skill levels attached to each session, so matches are always competitive and training is optimal. GOLD and SILVER club pass users can also play across all sports, giving them complete flexibility over their membership.
As per the latest voting rules, players will be allowed to vote ‘IN’ 7 days in advance for any session that is covered as part of their subscription. They also will be able to book TWO sessions at a time. Once you have voted ‘IN’ for two sessions, your voting privileges are frozen until the completion of one booked session. After session completion, you can now book your next session. In case you vote OUT of a session, your voting privileges are restored once again.
NO SHOW? That’s NO GOOD!
Another new feature we are introducing, after receiving a lot of feedback requesting for the same, is a ‘NO SHOW’ penalty. This is to make sure players who vote in actually turn up for the sessions or vote out well in advance, so that the slot may be used by someone else. If a player vote in and does not show up for the session or votes out with less than 60 minutes remaining, the player will be marked as a “NO SHOW”. Every NO SHOW player will have their voting privileges frozen for a 24 hour period plus a reduction of 50 Sporthood Credits from their account.
SHARE AND WIN
Every session has a ‘Share’ button, which you can be used to invite friends to vote in for the game. One of the easiest ways to cultivate an active lifestyle habit is to have friends along to share the journey. Also, if they buy a subscription using your referral code, both of you get Rs 250 added to your Sporthood Credits.
