Keeping this in mind, Sporthood has introduced various types of scholarships for kids who deserve a chance to shine. The scholarships which are both, Merit and Means based will allow any child with the potential of becoming a future player to get up to 100% financial assistance from Sporthood for their football training. The scholarship comes in 3 levels – 25%, 50% and 100% scholarship. This is based on the evaluation done by the head coaches in the talent hunt programs conducted by Sporthood across the city.
More often than not, a lot of meritorious and technically brilliant students miss out on professional football training due to financial constraints. This scholarship aims to enable them with an opportunity to pursue professional football courses based on a scientifically built curriculum by Sporthood in partnership with BFC Soccer Schools. This would, in turn, allow them a chance for a bright future in football.

Merit Based Scholarships
The eligibility for scholarships based on merit depends on which age group and which of the Sporthood centers is the candidate applying for. The eligibility varies from center to center, as the squads playing in every centers vary in skill level. The head coach of that center will select the kids who are eligible for the scholarship based on their skill level as compared to the squad they are applying for.
Means Based Scholarships
Means based scholarship depends on the financial capability of the candidate’s family. The scholarship can be divided into 3 parts based on the affordability of the candidate’s family. 100% scholarship is given to kids whose families cannot afford the training fees at all, and 25%-50% scholarships is given to kids whose families have a financial constraint and can only afford to pay a part of the training fees.
