Every story has a beginning. Ours started with graduation from IIM Ahmedabad, India’s premier management institute. A corporate career beckoned, and we took that road. Consequently, we brought in laurels to our companies, we raked in the moolah, we created change in their systems and we flew high. We flew abroad, we lived abroad. In the process, we picked up a lot of things, especially how the world beyond India works. Quite literally.
During our time there, we noticed the importance given to personal life, passions, and health. We understood the difference in their approach to life and marvelled at the application of work-life balance. More importantly, we recognized the importance of sports-life balance.
It was then, we decided to bring that to India. We realized that we Indians perform more, play less, eat more and exercise less. We realized that we stop playing far earlier, even though we have enough passion left for two lifetimes. Further, we realized that for a land of a billion people, who come very alive during a cricket match, the average workweek lasted way longer than a Test.
We realized that we have a million wonderful friends to create a million memorable stories with. However, the one thing we always wanted to do as kids and still want to do, is play.
We realized that Indians love to play, eat, bond and want to be healthy, yet no one provides them such an opportunity.
And thus, we left our jobs and came home to set that right.
This is the pathway we chose to make. The one we chose to take. This is our story.
